 @nacin:  Thanks.  That part is much better now.

 I was working on it earlier today but did not got around to submitting the
 patch.

 My changes were about the same as yours.  I also added a short
 explanation, which I am attaching now for consideration.  (I am not
 absolutely certain an explanation is necessary there, but I thought I
 would just add one to see how it looked.)
