 Next step would probably be to remove all .dev.js and .dev.css and minify
 the php (i.e. remove phpdoc and comments), then have a separate
 "developer" package that includes them. Although I would hate to do that.

 Another solution seems to be to add support for multi-step download and
 split the package in 2 (too late to try this for 3.0).
