Comment:

 The difference between Edit (edit every little thing on a separate screen,
 including fields added by plugins) vs Quick Edit (a little inline js to
 make life easier) is a standard that we have set up across the Admin, and
 which should remain in place. It's also necessary b/c there are times when
 someone has JS enabled, but it doesn't work properly for some reason that
 we can't anticipate (browser issues, etc), and in that case they'd be
 screwed.
