 There was code in there to derive the proper label given the menu and
 object type. Append was a fallback.  append should be removed entirely. If
 the translation changes users will still be stuck with an old name.  Plus,
 it's a nicename which is not good for display.  Only because the styling
 does all caps on it does it look decent.
