 How would this affect people who change their uploads path?

 Wouldn't it be better to pull [uploadurl] from wherever the miscellaneous
 stores it?  That way, if you changed the location, it would magically
 update.

 I don't know how this would work with Multi-Site, though, since as of 3.0,
 you can't change that setting easily.
