 Oh that sounds like an old friend. Interestingly things get traction when
 Matt needs to do stuff for his customers. Well, good that finally then.

 But in the end I suspect this is related to the romanization /
 latinization component which creates the slug. Could benefit from an
 overhaul but everytime this was on topic it was denied to do so because of
 backwards compat.
