Comment:

 wp_list_categories() supports the depth arg, see
 [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-includes/category-
 template.php#L513 here] [[BR]]
 get_categories() uses get_terms() and
 [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-
 includes/taxonomy.php#L813 get_terms(]) doesn't support the depth arg.
