 Sorry to have to do this to all of you :)

 Setting the Number of items per page on taxonomy pages doesn't stick, upon
 a reload, the number flicks back to what it was previously, in a new
 install posts/categories/custom taxonomies are forever displaying 20 per
 page.

 3.0 for now
