 Could someone please post a '''complete, patched query.php'''? I'm running
 2.9.2 and would greatly appreciate a fix for this; my install goes down at
 least once a day because of slow queries from query_post.

 Also, shouldn't this be upgraded to "major"? I imagine a lot of WordPress
 installs out there are suffering from this same problem.
