Comment:

 Please don't accept tickets unless you're working on a patch that fixes a
 verified bug.

 I'm not sure if there is a bug here, but what I'd like to know is what
 widgets and code do you have in this sidebar? If you're running multiple
 loops and such and things are being reset oddly (or not at all), then I
 could see how this might get caused, and it may reveal a 2.9->3.0 change.
