Comment:

 I was using it in the sidebar to add an extra dynamic_sidebar() when on
 the home page. It was working fine in 2.9.2 and stopped working when I
 upgraded to 3.0RC1. I've tried to use is_home() as well but it doesn't
 seem to work either.
 Could just be me I guess.
