 When trying to use is_front_page() in sidebar.php it always returns true.
 I moved it into index.php and wrapped it around get_sidebar() and it
 worked fine (although did not provide the functionality I needed). After
 searching online I found a few people that had found this problem with
 wordpress MU but there were no solutions offered.
