 {{{ define('FTP_PLUGIN_DIR', '/'); }}} you'd have to set that to {{{/wp-
 content/plugins/}}} instead, The error related to Visitor maps was
 probably due to the / define.

 Without seeing the server environment for myself, I'm not sure where to
