 There are hooks for both update_{$meta_type}_meta and
 updated_{$meta_type}_meta, but add_metadata and delete_metadata only have
 the past tense, after-the-fact hooks. In other words, there's
 added_{$meta_type}_meta and deleted_{$meta_type}_meta, but no
 add_{$meta_type}_meta or delete_{$meta_type}_meta...

 What gives? :/
