 I am looking at the bulk edit feature, which I gotta admit is quite slick.
 Though I can add tags and make sticky etc, there appear to be several
 things that I would expect.

 Why not add the ability to change category, change to custom_post_type,
 add a custom field or post thumbnail and (like page bulk edit) change
 template (assuming that custom post templates will eventually make it into
 core).
