 When testing out an upgrade through the site-admin, the following error
 presented itself:

 Warning! Problem upgrading . Your server may not be able to connect to
 blogs running on it.
 Error message: malformed
 }}}

 The test server only has one other blog on it at the time of testing this
 functionality.   WP is setup for subdirectory type blogs.
