 ... or perhaps not so random.  The previous request appears to be an
 invalid representation of the Google Image Search imageref query param,
 canonical slashed, and then re-mis-interpreted by WordPress.

 If the canonical redirection can't handle that type of request correctly,
 then it needs to be met with a 404 response.
