Comment:

 Yep, WordPress uses what it's given. Looks like Blip.tv's oEmbed provider
 needs work. I'd contact them and get them to fix it. It's a lot easier
 than use having to regex their HTML and fix it (plus would kinda defeat
 the purpose of oEmbed).
