Comment:

 I found this on the feedburner forum. when I changed my feed input on
 feedburner from this:
 http://www.darkmansdarkroom.com/feed/rss
 to this:
 http://www.darkmansdarkroom.com/feed/rss2

 everything worked.
 I also changed the link that was in my template from this:
 http://www.darkmansdarkroom.com/feed/rss
 to this
 http://www.darkmansdarkroom.com/feed/rss2
 and it now gives a correct full text feed.
