 two notes on the top of my head, on 10910.002.diff:

  - could we add apply_filters(the_permalink, get_permalink()) where
 applicable?
  - could we pass login/logout urls (complete with redirect parameters) to
 the login/logout captions? (Also, I think I only saw login captions;
 logout would be useful too.)
