 Okay, well you need to be clear about whether the processes are
 mod_rewrite processes or PHP processes.  Are you able to find out?  Trac
 is for bug reporting, not for technical support.  To keep this ticket open
 there has to be a problem in WordPress, and so far all we know is that
 your server has some runaway processes?
