 A lot of hacking at the category functions there.. I think it might be
 better to just create a new generic functionset which does it.

 A few things are needed in addition to this..
  * Singular vs plural forms of names, "Thing" and "Things" for example,
 "Taxonomy" "Taxonomies"
  * JS modifications to handle the taxonomies.. I think its hidden amongst
 the wp-lists functionality (Something i got lost in last time IIRC)
