 Has anyone thought about how is the Menu/Navigation functionality going to
 take into account custom post types that will start being used more with
 the release of 3.0?

 I ask because with the nav you can add pages and categories, what about a
 way to add posts or other custom post types (maybe the ability to add a
 new selection box to the menu UI via a hook when you declare a new post
 type?) to the navigation as well? It could use the same UI only it would
 allow you to search for posts or custom post types to add to your
 navigation.

 At the very least it might be good to have the ability to create a new
 menu item selector via a hook...  just a thought.
