Comment:

 Sounds good to me.  A refactoring of the Users class is definitely a
 better solution, but will it be done by the 3.0 cutoff?

 If not, can we include my patch in the 3.0 release so that blogs with this
 many users don't have a broken/severely slow users page in the meantime?
