 Agreed.

 However, Whilst it sounds like the cookies are causing the issue here,
 Theres other code somewhere in MS which is redirecting improperly, it
 should be redirecting to the login form, where as currently, its not.

 But yes, Use the existing salts+keys if they're defined (ie. not 'isnert
 key here') else generate a new set perhaps?
