 Aldo, this is -- technically -- pluginable in a way or another. If only by
 hijacking the wp query in the page editor. The author of whichever plugin
 you are using could, and should, have fixed this ages ago. Or at the very
 least contributed the patch.

 Fwiw, this bug is -- said Matt in a separate ticket -- lowest priority
 material. Unless the plugin gets released as gpl.
