 Wordpress should allow for gzipping and minifying all files from within
 the core, (including JS, CSS, HTML etc.) and caching of the HTML that is
 sent to the browser. It would greatly increase performance. I understand
 that there are plugins out there, but many of them are not compatible with
 each other. But if it was standardized as part of wordpress, those
 problems shouldn't exist anymore.
