 There are already attributes duplicated between the {{{[caption]}}}
 shortcode and the {{{<img>}}} tag. If we kept the {{{[caption]}}}
 shortcode separate, then these would still have to be duplicated. On the
 other hand, if we were to give the {{{[image]}}} shortcode a {{{caption}}}
 attribute, then we needn't wrap it in the {{{[caption]}}} shortcode and
 the attributes wouldn't need to be duplicated.

 In my mind the current system is very messy, and an {{{[image]}}} or
 {{{[media]}}} shortcode would allow us to tidy it up immensely.
