 Would it be possible to go so far as to extend that to creating the
 dropdown options in a more dynamic fashion and simply pull the current
 release version from a doc or similar? It would avoid any need for such
 requests as this to ever need exist(and wouldn't it make sense?).

 How to do that, i'm sure there's a billion ways.. read the major , minor
 and build numbers from a text doc or url and create the list more on the
 fly, in opposition to manually adding versions one at a time, ad nauseum.

 Just a suggestion...
