 The API functions should be named {{{add_meta_data}}},
 {{{update_meta_data}}}, and {{{get_meta_data}}}, where the significant
 difference is that there is an underscore separating the key words.

 It seems like a small difference, but the vast majority of WordPress
 functions are of the form [word]_[word], except for a few exceptions (such
 as the user meta functions) which make things hard to remember.
