Comment:

 I think this is a bug, not an enhancement, because the missing ellipses
 produce incosistency in the UI, which is a bug.  Some descriptions use
 ellipses, others not.

 (If no description at all ended with an ellipsis, then adding ellipses
 would be an enhancement.)

 As the patch is 3-months old now, I would like to check again before it is
 considered for commit.
