 Another random idea is to have an auto detect feature that uses the
 client's IP address.  Chances are the server isn't in the same time zone
 (mine's in Dallas and I'm in Vancouver) they want it to be set as, but I
 imagine most users set their sites to use their own native time zone where
 they live (and probably are connected to the internet).  You could simply
 ping a server, grab the IP address of the client as seen at the server,
 and search a geo-location database for the user's timezone and return
 that.  Might not be 100% accurate, but might be a simple way to make a
 first guess.
