 I started by editing the confusing 2nd paragraph (“Widgets can be removed
 from their settings...”) but ended up reworking the whole bit.

 I also removed the whole explanation of dragging-and-dropping.  Why:

 I think WP should try to explain what is specific to itself—or, when
 necessary, to web publishing tools in general— and leave basic computing
 lessons to where they belong. Thus, WP’s message can be more focused and
 concise.
