 could reproduce. pressing shift + enter only insters a line break but you
 stay in the same paragraph and inside the link.

 this does only happen when you are at the end of the document.

 it helps to insert a char (e.g. a space) while being at the end of the
 link and then press enter. this will insert the new paragraph as wished.

 maybe a wp_autoopt (js) issue?
