Comment:

 patch introduces bugs in functions like _make_email_clickable_cb(), where
 you've changed the type of quotes.

 quite frankly, though, I'd suggest this gets closed until the huge load of
 commit candidates get looked into:

 there are hoards of them, and the odds are that a big patch like this
 might additionally break a few of the patches.
