 Added a patch to fix the selected parameter in the choice dropdown (having
 an extra space in that bit in Firefox mucked it up for some reason), and
 to add smart handling of the older selection method. If no timezone string
 is found, it'll use the existing gmt_offset to build an "Etc/GMT+5" or
 similar string, and pre-select that in the selection box.
