 Seeing this in my httpd error log after upgrading to 2.8:

 [Sun Jun 14 15:42:15 2009] [error] [client 24.218.221.24] PHP Fatal error:
 Call to a member function get_link() on a non-object in
 /home/jik/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line
 647, referer: http://blog.kamens.brookline.ma.us/~jik/wordpress/wp-admin
 /options-general.php

 The attached patch should be obvious.  Don't know if it's the right fix,
 but it works for me ;-)
