 In diverse discussion it has been stated many, many times that there will
 be no change in the way WordPress slashes the data. This is because of the
 status quo. So this ticket's report must be bogus as well. Because
 changing the well accepted behavior of $_REQUEST will change the WordPress
 behavior of how request variables are slashed.

 '''As it has been clearly said that the way WordPress slahes request
 related data has not to be touched''' this ticket is plain invalid.

 I hope I can make the point more clear now.
