 No need to get so worked up, Otto.

 Personally I really prefer these over the old ones. I hated the old ones
 (they scream 1990's) and the new ones actually made me enable smilies on
 my blog for once (I've had them off for years due to the ugly of the old
 ones).

 Not saying these are the best smilies out there, but there's a big
 improvement in my book.
