 Can you please have a look at the source code of one of your comments and
 see what it looks like where it's doing this double-escaping on quotes? I
 see what you've given as an example there in the source, so in the actual
 output, I see the correct thing (an apostrophe).

 By the sounds of it, the actual source code of your comments will be
 something like:
 {{{
 it's
 }}}

 And a couple of questions -- Are you running any other plugins or any
 other modifications of any kind on the install you're testing on? What
 version of PHP are you using? What exactly does the code look like on
 LiveJournal's end for the same comment?
