 Probably...honestly I had forgotten about the priority.

 On the "con" side of just using priorities it will be simpler to just have
 a named hook; less to understand conceptually. OTOH, now that you bring it
 up I could go either way as long as how to process post types at init
 priority 100 is ''well'' documented somewhere.
