 Data returned by plugins API is double UTF-8 encoded. As I recall, this
 worked in the past, so something has changed recently. Results are the
 same on WP 2.8.6 and 2.9.

 You can test this by searching for "nasza" via Plugins/Add New in WP - in
 results you should get only one plugin,
 "[http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nasza-klasa-wizytowka/ Nasza Klasa -
 Wizytówka]". Its name, description and author's name are double utf-8
 encoded now.
