when you save permalinks.

yeah, my suggest is based on theirs. But their doc's example is actually
crappy. it mindlessly compresses audio files, video files, pdfs, etc.
those are already compressed, and compressing them prevents some user
agents to process them correctly. with the one I suggest, we only compress
html/xml/css/js files.
