 I've seen this discussion floating around the wp-hackers list before. The
 ability to 'disable' entire "components" that WP uses, could potentially
 increase performance on sites that don't use them. I'm thinking that's
 where Kaiser is going with his suggestion. Deleting the tables and files
 isn't going to happen, just have an option to not include/use them when
 the site does it's require/include bootup.
