#8662: current_time('timestamp') doesn't return the correct timestamp value

Reporter: hudatoriq | Owner: hudatoriq
Type: defect (bug) | Status: new
Priority: high | Milestone: 2.9
Component: Date/Time | Version: 2.7
Severity: major | Keywords: has-patch needs-testing

Comment(by ryan):
date_i18n() is probably a source of problems. Instead of always passing
UTC timestamps, it takes ones already adjusted to local time and then
forces gmdate() on them instead of just using date().
{{{
$date = date_i18n( $datef, strtotime( current_time('mysql') ) );
}}}
