 No, same problem as before. If my city isn't in your magical list, it
 completely fails.

 The problem is with using a text entry box in the first place. There's
 only a certain valid set of entries, making them able to enter anything
 and then trying to basically guess what they need to put in isn't going to
 change this simple fact. All you're doing is putting a big ugly
 maintenance-inducing band-aid on the problem by adding a bunch more cities
 to the list. The problem with that: you're never going to get them all.
 Some are always going to be missing.

 A text input makes sense when the user can validly enter anything.

 Here, the user can not validly enter anything. They have a fixed set of
 options to choose from.

 Therefore a text input makes absolutely no sense here at all.

 You can't sugarcoat that.
