 A few tweaks later and we get this:

 * Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/nightly-builds/wordpress-
 latest.zip
 * Unpacking the core update
 * Verifying the unpacked files
 * Installing the latest version
 * Upgrading database
 * WordPress upgraded successfully
