 jacobsantos, I am screwing up is where I call get_permalink($id) in a
 specific context, and if fails if the id is a page and works if it's a
 post?

 if you insist on getting a test case, I can provide one with a bit of
 effort. but I am sure this inconsistent behavior from WP is a bug.
