Comment:

 Link and alignment and such are not "settings" of the image. They are just
 fields that are used when you Insert the image into a post. And then they
 are used that one-time-only, because the data is actually inserted to the
 post content.

 So, marking this as invalid. Those settings are not saved because they are
 not settings in the first place.
