 Well create a {{{.fonts.conf}}} file, disabling hinting only for the
 Lucida Grande. I still don't think this is valid as a WordPress bug. Open
 a bug on the Ubuntu bug tracker, and ask them to add an entry for Lucida
 Grande in {{{/etc/fonts/conf.d}}}.
